ABOUT BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH

In the Fall of 1951, the Lord burdened Pastor John Dudeck and 12 other families to separate from the American Baptist Association, and form a new Independent Baptist Church in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. They desired to see a Church in Reedsburg that would stay true to the fundamentals of the faith, and not deviate from the "old paths". (Jeremiah 6:16)

This newly formed group began meeting at the Rock Springs Community Hall, and officially organized on November 14th, 1951. By April of 1952, the Lord provided a building of their own to meet in, on the corner of 3rd and Oak Street in Reedsburg.

A few years later, in the mid 60's, a Church building and Parsonage was purchased on Main Street. This would be the home of Bible Baptist until 1992, when 5 acres of land was purchased on the northeast side of town. Over the next 6 years the buildings were constructed to meet the Church's needs, and the new auditorium was finished in 1998.

Since it's beginning, the Church has strived to maintain it's conservative stand, and follow a literal approach to the Bible. Throughout the history of Bible Baptist Church, it's obvious to see that the Lord has been faithfully watching over His flock. Truly the Lord has built His Church, and the gates of hell have not prevailed against it!
